Dear Prospective Vendor,

We are pleased to announce the commencement of applications for the 2024 Authors and Artists Holiday Gift Sale, scheduled for Saturday, November 2, 2024, at the Bel Air Armory from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. This annual event is a celebration of local talent, showcasing the creativity and craftsmanship of authors, artists, and artisans in our community.

To streamline the application process, we will once again be utilizing an online application system. All vendors, whether new applicants or returning participants, are required to submit an online application. Please ensure that your application includes a comprehensive listing of the products you intend to offer for sale. It is imperative to note that all items for sale must be crafted by the vendor themselves. These criteria will aid us in curating a diverse and original selection of products for our attendees.

This year, we have allotted space for a total of 40 vendors. Authors have the option to share a table with another author at a reduced rate, while artists may request additional space if needed. If your display requires access to electricity, please indicate this in the narrative section of your application.

Applications will be accessible online via the provided link from April 19 to May 24, 2024. We kindly request that no payments be submitted until you have received an acceptance letter. Acceptance notifications, distributed via email, are anticipated to be sent by early June 2023. Upon acceptance, vendors will have a two-week window to remit payment via check, payable to the Town of Bel Air. Additionally, applicants not initially selected will have the option to be placed on a waiting list.

The participation fee for the event remains unchanged from previous years, at $40 per 8 X 8 space. Authors opting for a half table space will be charged $20.

To facilitate an organized setup process, we will be implementing a staggered schedule. Artists and artisans are requested to commence setup at 8:30 am, followed by authors and vendors with minimal setup requirements at 9:00 am. The event will officially open to the public at 10:00 am and conclude at 3:00 pm.

Please bear in mind that the Authors & Artists Holiday Gift Sale committee operates entirely on a volunteer basis, and all vendor application fees are managed by the Town of Bel Air. Unfortunately, we are unable to issue refunds for cancellations. However, in the event of government-mandated cancellation due to public health concerns, we will endeavor to extend your invitation and payment fee to the following year.
